- Take 8 pcs Dry dates
- Prepare 100 ml Rose water
- Make ready 100 ml Water
- Make ready For stuffing
- Get 50 grms Khoya /Mawa
- Get 1 tsp sugar
- Make ready 1 tbsp chopped nuts-I have used almonds and pistachio
- Prepare For garnishing Silvered pistachio
Steps to make Stuffed Dates:
- Soak the dry dates/Chuaare in rose water and water overnight
- Once they are soaked they will be all puffed up
- Deseed the dates. Just slit the date and remove the seed. Do not cut it open completely
- Take the khoya, sugar and nuts
- Mix everything well
- Fill the stuffing in between the date
- Roll the date in sliced pistachio
- This is a Ramadan speciality. We use this date to open our fast.
