- Soak poppy seeds in water for 5-6 hours.Then grind the soaked poppy, to form a smooth paste. Add little oil while grinding..
- Now take a pan or khadhai and heat ghee in it. Add crushed cardamom
- Transfer the poppy seeds paste into the pan and roast for 10-15 minutes. It is important to keep stirring so that the mixture does not get stuck to the base. Roast till it start leaving oil and does not stuck to the base.
- When you start smelling the amazing aroma, add milk, sugar and the dry fruits pieces to the roasted poppy seeds and roast for another 5-6 minutes till milk is fully absorbed and turned to thick mass.
