- Take 1/4 cup oil/ ghee

- Wash and soak the daal for 20 minutes.
- Now boiled the daal for 15 minutes with little bit of turmeric and salt then stain it.
- Now heat the pan add oil/ ghee add zeera and onion and sauté it for 2 minutes then add garlic and ginger paste stir it.
- Now add tomato and all the spices and stir it then make a masala and cook it.
- Now add daal mash in masala fry in masala and add little water and with green chilli, ginger julienne Coriander and garam masala powder you can add 1 tsp of butter also to enhance the taste of mash daal.
