  1. For Kofte/ Pakoras
  2. Add grated bottle gourd in a bowl.
  3. Add gram flour into the bowl.
  4. Add all the spices mentioned above into the flour by reducing the quantity to 1/4th.
  5. Add 1/2 cup water to the flour and make a thick paste. Rest in for 10 minutes.
  6. After 10 minutes, deep fry the koftas in medium hot oil.
  7. Keep aside the pakoras until the gravy got ready.
  8. For gravy
  9. Saute garlic, onion, green chillies, ginger, tomatoes in oil just for 2 minutes.
  10. Make a paste out of it. Heat 1/2 oil in pan.
  11. Saute cloves, black pepper, cinnamon, cumin seeds and chopped onions, green chillies, chopped garlic, and then add the paste into the pan.
  12. Add all the spices mentioned above into it and cook it for 10 minutes more. Add curd to it.
  13. After adding curd cook it for 2 minutes more.
  14. Then add koftas and Lauki Kofta curry is ready to serve.
