  1. And a pot heat oil and add onions, saute for a minute till soft. Take out the onions in a blender, add yogurt, chilies, ginger garlic paste and almonds (remove skin). Blend into a fine paste and keep aside. - In the same oil add green cardamoms, bay leaf, cinnamon and sizzle till fragrant. Now add the chicken, yogurt mix and salt and stir continuously on a medium low flame till it starts to bubble. Do not stop stirring or the yogurt will split.
  2. Once it starts bubbling lower the flame and let it cook till the chicken is done. - Serve with sheermal.
