  1. Take mutton leg and place deep cuts in it with help of a sharp knife.
  2. In a bowl add two cups of water, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, salt and marinate mutton leg for 2 hours in it. - - Deep fry mutton leg until golden brown and keep aside until cold.
  3. In a bowl add yoghurt, lemon juice, papaya paste, ginger garlic paste, green chili paste, almond powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder, salt, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, mace powder, garam masala powder, chaat masala, red chili powder and red food color.
  4. Mix all these ingredients well and marinate mutton leg in it for 6 hours or overnight.
  5. In a steamer, steam mutton leg for one hour or until fully tender
