Instructions to make Vermicelli payasam:
- First pour ghee in a pan, roast cashew nuts
- Remove that from the pan and keep it aside
- In the same pan fry vermicelli for two three minutes
- Boli milk and keep it ready
- Add colour powder to the milk.
- Then boil water in a vessel and cook vermicelli with salt.This is to enhance the taste.
- Keep stiring the milk in medium flame.
- When vermicelli is almost soft turn off the flame and transfer it to the boiling milk
- Then add cardomon powder,sugar and cashew nuts
- Stir this in medium flame for a minute and turn off the flame
- Payasam is ready to serve
