To begin with this recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can cook biri bara using 8 ingredients and 3 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.
The ingredients needed to make Biri Bara:
- Make ready 250 gm Urad dal (soaked and paste) as batter
- Get 1 Onion finely chopped
- Get 2 green chillies (finely chopped)
- Prepare 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Take Salt as per taste
- Take 1 pinch ama kasi ada
- Take 1 and 1/2 Tablespoons of Sooji
- Take Refined oil for deep frying
Steps to make Biri Bara:
- Take mixing bowl pour there Urad dal paste, mix all ingredients together and also add Sooji and mix it with the help of a spoon or your hand. Wip it for 10 mins in one direction then add salt to it and again mix it.
- Now turn on the gas flame and pour oil. Wait the oil to smoke. Then slow the flame and fry the baras respectively one by one as shown in the picture. Fry it in slow and medium flame. If one side done then flip it to other side.
- Fry till it become crispy and change it's colour. Then enjoy it with Guguni and sprinkle some black salt over it.
