- Sift together twice the flour, soda, and baking powder to ensure full incorporation. Set aside
- Cream sugar and margarine until light, fluffy, and doubled
- To the creamed mixture, add the eggs (one at a time). Make sure each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next. Do not add the next egg if the mixture still looks cuddled/split
- Stir n your flavouring
- Add the flour alternating with the milk to the creamed mixture. Do this in atleast 4 additions and do not overmix. Always start and end with the flour for a much stable cake batter
- Pour batter into your prepared pan and bake for 45minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
