  15. Prepare 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  16. Get 1 tsp sesame seeds (white til)
  17. Prepare 1 pinch asafoetida (hing)
  18. Get Oil for shallow fry & tempering

  1. Wash & soak all dals in water for 2 - 3 hours. Add fenugreek seeds. Remove water. Grind in a coarse thick paste. Add salt & curd. Mix well.
  2. Keep it rest for fermentation for 5-6 hours.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients of batter. Mix well. (keep aside 4-5 tsp methi Leaves).
  4. Heat deep pan. Drizzle some oil. Pour 1/2 Inch thick batter. Sprinkle methi Leaves over it.
  5. Cover lid on pan. Cook it on slow flame. It will take 8-10 minutes to cook until golden. Now flip carefully. Cook bottom side until golden.
  6. Transfer it in plate. Cut it in desired shape.
  7. Serve hot with green chutney & tomato sauce.
