- Prepare potatoes
- Make ready Gram flour
- Get Rice flour
- Get carom seeds
- Get turmeric powder

- Wash and peel potatoes. Next cut them into thin circles and soak them into salt water.
- Next, in a bowl add gram flour, rice flour, salt to taste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, baking soda, carom seeds. Mix and add water to make batter. (Keep batter lconsistency little thick)
- Heat oil.
- Remove potato cuts from the water.
- Dip potato cut into a batter cover it nicely and drop it in the hot oil. (Can do 3-4 at a time)
- Deep fry them for few mins(3-4 mins), and remove it on a tissue paper.
- Repeat the process with the remaining potato cuts.
- Serve hot with Bread, Chutney and fried Green chillies.
