- Marinade meat with soy sauce, Oyster sauce, salt, sugar, pepper, rice wine
- Add a little oil into pot topped with minced garlic marinated meat, carrots and onions (onions can be used last if you prefer them crunchy)
- Add water to cover and cook on high for 12 to 15 mins
- Add onion (and dried chili) on top and continue cooking on low for 4 to 6 hours
- Before finishing, stir in vinegar, seasoning, sesame seed oil, watered-down cornstarch, (chili paste if you're using), peanuts, cook for another 20 mins
