The ingredients needed to make Zarda:
  1. Get 500 gm rice
  2. Get 500 gm sugar
  3. Get 50 gm dry coconut chopped
  4. Take 50 gm cashew chopped
  5. Get 50 gm almond chopped

  7. Make ready 100 gm dry dates chopped
  8. Make ready 1 litre water

  1. Cook the rice with water on medium flame…till it becomes soft…when cooked strain it….
  2. Heat ghee in a kadhai on medium flame and add the cardamoms and cloves…then add the sugar and 1 cup water…
  3. Keep stiring till it becomes sugar syrup…then add the cooked rice and mix well…
  4. Then add the chopped dry fruits…mix and cook for some time then serve…
